Web accessibility:

The SOFG site is committed, wherever possible, to support the Web Accessibility Initiative (WAI), complying with all priority 1 and some priority 2 and 3 guidelines of the W3C Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 1.0. Nearly all the webpages on this site make use of valid XHTML 1.0 Transitional and CSS except for some search result webpages.

The site was initially designed to be viewed with standards compliant browsers only but it can now be viewed with nearly any web browser including text-only browsers.

If there are any webpages on the SOFG site that are not accessible (for example, through assisted readers), please email niran@ebi.ac.uk specifying the relevant URL(s) and the nature of the problem. We will try and provide the information you require in an alternate format if possible.
